These beautiful secondhand darning eggs are perfect for sock repairs.
 
Simply pop it inside the sock and use it to darn the toe and heel area - the smaller size and shape ensures you can fix a hole or well-worn areas without stretching the fabric too much.
 
All of them are one-of-a-kind sourced from vintage markets and charity shops.
 
Each egg is a little different and has 'character' - minor chips, surface scratches, dents, tiny holes and marks from it's previous life, but is still in usable conditon with an authentic vintage feel. 
 
Some have more of a smooth polished finish and others have a more natural feel.

darning socks, gloves or similar items.
